The park itself is still being well maintained at this time, and we may well give it one more go, but if there is no improvement on these issues, we will not likely keep trying.

The town of Lillooet dates back to the Cariboo Gold Rush. The sights are reminiscent of the frontier days – the Hangman’s Tree, Old Newspaper office, and Chinese Rock Tailings are a throwback to a time long before the Duffy Lake Road was open to tourists.
Lillooet Museum is well worth a visit to explore native and gold rush history. Overnight in the Lillooet Area. There may be no campgrounds open so ask advice from locals as to the best place to park.
